Corrective Chiropractic Care

A Corrective Care Chiropractic practice will evaluate the person for not only trauma and pathology, but more importantly for function. Since our Central Nervous System controls all joints, tissues, organs and glands of the body, we need it to function as close to 100% as possible. There are two basic forms of chiropractic care: Relief Care or pain control, and the other is Corrective Care. The latter form of chiropractic care is designed to fix underlying problems that may have contributed to injury in the first place such as subluxation (misaligned vertebrae), nerve interference from spinal cord compression or a pinched nerve in back or neck.

It's fascinating how chiropractic care is like orthodontics. Both are working on correcting underlying structural abnormalities to make a more lasting change in the body, not just treating symptoms. Chiropractors offer two basic forms of care: Relief Care or pain control and Corrective Care which works on the various structures that could be causing your back pain (correcting the cause rather than just treating the symptom).

The Corrective Care doctor is the only type of Chiropractor that will search for the real cause, and design a specific plan of care based on each patient's spine structural deviations, pain level, degeneration/arthritis in the spine or disc damage.

In time, the Corrective Care adjustment and alignment process may often correct structural problems and spinal misalignments, thus stopping or at least slowing down degenerative decay in the spine (arthritis) and freeing nerve flow. This often requires a series of visits over a period of time. It will not require bracing.

Corrective Care Chiropractic may aid in building a healthy body and immune system by removing the interference or blockages of nerve flow (messages) to and from the brain. We want every one of our patients to function at an optimal level, maximizing their health and quality of life, not just relieving pain temporarily. Every day we see how chiropractic care benefits people who are experiencing chronic conditions like fibromyalgia, migraines or arthritis because it can help them live better for longer.

Corrective Chiropractic will show you the before and after of your spine so that you can see how amazing it will be. You won't have to worry about patching up all the time, because we're going to take care of everything for you.

Your spine is made up of bones called vertebrae. When these vertebrae are in normal alignment, it means that all the muscles and nerves as well as different systems of the body are functioning optimally. Aim to achieve a nice "C" shaped curve in your neck as well as low back for a healthy nervous system while lounging on one side. Adjustments are important to prevent future back pain. Adjustments will vary in frequency depending on your lifestyle and goals, but usually only require 1-4 visits per month for a quick visit with the chiropractor.

When thinking of the body as a system, the foundation would be the nervous system. If it's obvious that your foundation is cracked and unstable, wouldn't you rather fix the problem instead of continually repairing the surface? Our care is for those who are looking for a long-term solution, not just an easy patch.

Understanding the way your body works and providing it with the appropriate care to heal is one of the most important things for a person's general wellbeing. For some people, this includes chiropractic care which can help make sense of their pain and other health problems. It takes dedication on behalf of both parties in order to see true success as adjustments are only made when needed, but once they begin happening your entire body will be able to get back into position so that you can live without pain or discomfort for good.

The goal of corrective care is to help your body heal back to 100% functioning, and the first step in this process is correcting any issues with your muscles or other tissues. It's important that you get chiropractic care during this time because it can prevent future injury and pain. It is typical to need chiropractic care or adjustments up to twice a week for 6 months to two years, depending on the severity of your problem. A normal spine has three perfect curves from the side and should be straight in front.

There are plenty of treatments for aches and pains. But what about if you suffer from more than just occasional back pain? That's where chiropractic care comes in! Chiropractors see patients every day who need help with chronic headaches, fatigue, muscle spasms, and even irritable bowel syndrome. They take a holistic approach to the body by correcting spinal alignment so that your nerves can function optimally - this is especially helpful when it comes down to supporting your immune system!

Chiropractic care has been utilized by millions of people worldwide since its inception over 100 years ago; one of those techniques is called Corrective Chiropractic Care; a method by which the spine is realigned back to its healthy shape taking pressure off of the nerves in the neck and back eliminating nerve interference allowing the body to restore full function to vital organs.

General chiropractic care provides instant pain relief, but it does not address global spinal misalignments caused by poor postural habits, birth trauma, car accidents, or sports injuries. No matter how many adjustments are performed, ice or heat packs applied, or massages received the spine will not change unless the biomechanics is fixed.

Misalignments in the spine put excessive amounts of pressure on delicate nerves coming out of the spine. If left untreated, nerve interference can rob your organs and lead to pain, discomfort, fatigue and more importantly an imbalance in organ function which could result in disease.

Chiropractic care is focused on treating the underlying misalignments in the body that lead to pain and injury. If you are experiencing pain, consider visiting a chiropractor. Our doctors will address any structural or alignment problems that may be causing your discomfort.

We have a team of doctors who are experts in the field and work with patients to diagnose their issues. We then provide comprehensive care, including adjustments, stretching, and exercises that can help you get back your natural strength and alignment so you can go on living pain free!

Corrective chiropractic care goes beyond pain relief. We’re known for providing you with the relief you need, but our goal is to give you a healthy life in addition to that!

What I can offer is more than just a temporary fix for your aches and pains; it's about giving you the tools to live a healthier lifestyle and feel better every day.
